So, what are the items you should pack for your new student accommodation? Well, there are several, including:
- Light bulbs- you can never have too many light bulbs! Before you move in, make sure you find out what type of light bulbs your new home needs, and pack a few to get you started. You can find lots of different types of light bulb in many discount stores too, so they don’t have to be expensive.
- Coat-hangers- when you move into your new place, you might realise you have a shortage of coat-hangers to hang up your new clothes. Make sure you bring a surplus and you wont have any excuse for a messy room.
- Kitchen necessities- from pots and pans, to plates and glasses, as well as utensils, you need to make sure you pack all the necessary kitchen items. There’s nothing more irritating than being part way through cooking and realising you are missing a key piece of equipment!
- Torches and batteries- You never know when you might need a torch. But a torch with no batteries probably wont help you much! So make sure you move in prepared with a torch, and plenty of batteries.
