We have parking available directly behind IQ Kopa in Preston. Parking at UCLAN preston can be a real nightmare. But we have a large parcel on land behind the NIsa convenience store which is under the IQ Kopa halls. Its just off Appleby Street PR1 1JX you literally drive directly past Nisa on Moor Lane and follow the road taking you behind IQ Kopa. The land is directly behind the IQ Kopa halls. So if you are at the back of IQ Kopa you can actually see your car woop woop.
There is very limited parking on Moor Lane itself near IQ or near the Queen Vic Chippy again on Moor Lane. But now you can get parking with your own allocated space 24/7 so no more driving up and down the uclan campus looking for hours for that one space that may just be available at 10pm that night. Then you are too scared to use it 2 days later because you just know it will be gone when you get back. Then you have to park it 15 minutes away in some random street, thats if you are lucky.

Its great if you are living at any of the halls on Moor lane PR1 7AT just to name a few IQ Kopa, Moor lane halls, Sanctuary Halls, Ribble brook house, Canterbury Halls, Walker lane halls, Portergate Halls, Ladywell Halls, Brunel Court Halls yet so many more.
Yet most if not all of these halls have literally no spaces for parking, so if you need a parking space close to uclan campus you are pretty much screwed. Just speak to the 2nd year students who will tell you that the biggest problem with having a car at uclan is trying to park a car at uclan doh. Its a challenge in itself, take a drive around uclan campus and take a look for yourselves as moor lane parking is full all the time. Parking at uclan is what some call the crystal maze as its literally a miracle if you get a parking space close to the campus. In fact most of the spaces are limited to just 1 or 2 hours parking around the uclan campus at preston. So some people get the spots from 6pm when restrictions end so thats good news after 6pm, but then the not so good news…….get up set them alarm clocks as the zone times start at 8am which means you need to move the cars at 9am or 10am so don’t be late or get caught snoozing zzzzzzzzz as these traffic wardens are on fire from 9am as they know students leave them overnight. So often we hear of students getting caught out taking that extra few mins in bed, in fact if you talk to a student who has a car at preston uclan i bet you will not find one that has not been a target of those early morning parking tickets.
